A System Release document (SRD) is a reference for the game mechanics made available under the Open Game License (OGL) pioneered by Wizards of the Coast (WOTC) back when it brought out the third edition of Dungeons and Dragons (D&D). You can read more about SRD's at Wikipedia. Some of these documents cover games and content that is not released under the original OGL, but are likewise 'open,' such as the Eclipse Phase rules.

I'm only compiling a list of resources. Inclusion is this list is not any sort of endorsement, just acknowledgement that these things did indeed exist at the time this list was made or last updated. I leave it to others to foist opinions and write reviews of such things.
