Tomb Complex 47g Map

Things have been crazy here. No sooner did Space-Age Sorcery go out as a free pdf, we've begun work on a quick follow-up as well as the Expanded Editon; we're statting-up and illustrating a pile of Minor Deities, Servitors and what-not for Gorgonmilk's reboot of the Petty Gods Project; we're also working with Porky on completing the Worldboats pdf as well.

In the process, I missed the deadline for the really cool Tomb of the Rocket-Men contest over at the always excellent Dungeon of Signs blog. I was able to finish a map, you can see it there on the left. But you really need to click over to the Dungeon of Signs blog and take a look at the Winnners! Wow! There are some really amazingly cool maps over there. One of my favorites is the one drawn by J. Burnett from the Bernie the Flumph blog. Logan Knight's map is simply incredible, a really engaging bit of cartographic artistry. Excellent stuff.

  1. I've been a big fan of your work here for a while now so the compliment is awfully flattering.

    1. Congratulations of winning the contest. You did one amazingly cool map! It will be really fun to see what Gus does with it over at Dungeon of Signs. I hope you do some more maps in that style. You've inspired me to try my hand some isomorphic mapping, which I haven't done since High School drafting class...

  2. This is up there with the others for sure. It's disorienting in the detail too, in a very good way - there's a lot of scope for interpretation and surprise even for the GM, which for me is a lot of what it's about. If this is even a vague taster of the morphs for the Worldboats, they're going to be good.

    1. Thanks. There are some really excellent maps over there. Great contest. We might stat this one up for a quick adventure. But it'll have to wait. The morphs for the Worldboats are cleaner, yet a bit more organic-looking. I'll post some samples later on. I want to finish the initial set first.
