We are in the final stages of proofreading a peculiar little grimoire of spells for OD&D / Swords & Wizardry and/or any other OSR-Style RPG that combines science, sorcery and a touch of Lovecraft and Clive Barker. It is a collaborative effort between us and two other bloggers and we're rather pleased to see it finally about to be released upon an unsuspecting public...
Can't wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteJust making a few minor corrections here and there, so we're hoping to release this Monday morning. Then it's on to the next project...
Deletethis is good news am looking forward to seeing the final output.
ReplyDeleteCan you share what your next project is?
And its good to have you back and blogging. I am (selfishly!)looking forward to some more Wermspittle stuff
All the best
It's good to be back and thanks for the comment!
DeleteMore Wermspittle is on the way. Bloodseers should go up pretty soon, and with luck there will be at least one post for Wermspittle each week going forward. At least that is the plan...
Right now I'm getting the Worldboat stuff compiled--Porky has contributed a lot of fresh new stuff, including some amazing tables, and that is another long-delayed project that needs to get done and out. I'm also working on some adventures--Vault of the Mechanosmasher, Ichorium of Varlak, Monolithik, and so on. Plus more Geomorphs, more paper minis, and a few random maps.
There are a lot of things coming together all at once. And it looks like we'll be producing some stuff for a couple of RPG 'Zines in our spare time...
Will this be available in print?
ReplyDeleteWe're offering it as a free pdf. We haven't worked out everything just yet, in regards to making a print version available...but if there is a demand for it, we'll see what we can do.
DeleteI'm open to it either way GJ! Sounds great and I want to have this thing in my hands. I've seen some of what's in this and let me tell ya I'm very excited about it.
ReplyDeleteWe're just about done with the proofreading and corrections. We've been sorting through all the rigmarole for making this available as a print product and it looks like we ought to be able to do something in conjunction with RPGnow. Right now we are on-track for debuting the Space-Age Sorcery pdf on Monday morning. This has been a really interesting process...very educational, eye-opening even. In a good way!
