Spell: Triple Shadow

Triple Shadow
Level: 4
Duration: 1d12 turns
Range: Self

The caster splits their shadow into three slightly overlapping but separate parts as they channel the hidden light of three different suns through their aura at once. Any spell that they cast in this triply-illuminated state gains a base 30% chance to affect immaterial, ethereal, astral or other things that they could not affect previously. The bonus gains a cumulative 5% per level past the minimum casting level. This spell is a prerequisite for various rituals and has a number of other, secret applications known only to Fantomists, Monoptrians, and a few others.

The inverse form of this spell is not to be attempted under any circumstance.

  1. Interesting. This looks like the sort of thing that Bujilli might end up using.

Also, speaking of him, when is our next update going to be?

  2. @C'nor: Bujilli is in transition -- we're still experimenting with a different approach that looks promising. Once we get it working, we'll update everyone and re-launch Bujilli, probably within another week or two. The Tumblr we set up for Bujilli will be a core piece to the over-all process.

  3. 'Cause sometimes, two shadows just aren't enough... ;)

  4. @Trey: especially if you're going on to use a ritual to extrude a set of shadow servitors...or you're attempting to raise an army of shades...or you want to synchronize a few of your alternate selves into a magickal amalgamation...
