Caster gains the ability to inflict double damage on anyone successfully struck during the duration of this spell by drawing their blade backwards along the wound in a quick, saw-like motion. If the victim makes their save versus spells, the caster gets a free follow-up attack. The bonus damage only applies if the spell is still in effect for this follow-up attack, however.
