...Poisonous. The Serpent People of Lost Valja have taken-up residence within the dim caverns and spiraling tunnels of the Gudunjo Asteroid Belt, which they have since re-named The Serpentium. Scarletscales are just as prone to wearing concealing robes as most other orthodox sorts of serpentpeople sub-species. They will use magic items to enhance their defensive capabilities if they can acquire them, but they will only wield swords, passing-up other weapons, even if they are magical, in favor of a good pair of swords.
A typcial Scarletscale will know 1d4 random spells. They prefer Duplicate Weapon, Envenomate, and Draw Cut over any other spells, if those are available to them. Scarletscales rarely teach these spells to anyone outside of their one sub-species, at least not without extracting a heinously high price for doing it.
The Scarletscales are dedicated, even fanatical sword-fighters and relish the opportunity to cross blades with a worthy opponent. They will still use subterfuge, misdirectionand every dirty trick in the book (and then some) to defeat or kill their opponent, but they will enjoy the experience immensely nonetheless.
